Thanks for this. Its something which I posted a few

that Babra Sharif is the film's producer. So what about
Mobilelink.

The film has been censored in the UK and has got a 15
certificate which is somewhat surprising.

I agree why release Majajan after Zille Shah. I would
rather release Mohabbatan Sachchiyan and then after a
while release Majajan.

Well a few years back YDAKH was released with 17 prints
all over UK. Larki Punjaban also was released with over
atleast 15 prints.

Recently we had KKL with about 12 prints and MADLKA with
10 prints.

Sorry to say the producer is talking rubbish. With only
just 6 prints it looks like a very low key release and
with no publicity. Its a shame that a quality film will
be wasted.

I can confirm that i have seen the promo. The print quality of the promo is very poor and then its getting shown on the most pathetic Pakistani channel. Even though the film is brilliant but with this type of promotion Zille Shah will be a total washout at the box office. Just hope that things pick up.

Bilal and W Q Malik are correct that Daku is the only film to be realeased on DVD from your list. If you require a copy I will send it to you free of charge. I allso have the full soundtrack of Daku. I will PM you a link where you can download the soundtrack of Daku and other Pakistani film soundtracks.

I myself have all the hit soundtracks from 1995 onwards.

What I have so far seen from the test transmission the channel is bad at all. Its showing good quality Urdu films. The pleasing aspect is the print quality. It looks like majority of the prints have been obtained from Famous Video. Films like Lajawab, Insaaf Aur Aadmi, Saheli have been shown. Nadeem's Deewaney Do is going to shown also. So far a good choice of films.

DM Digital has to be the worse ever Pakistani channel.

Well Deely news for you that syed Noor is currently in the process of starting 3 new films after Muharram. Just hope that Saima is not in all these films.

This film Wohti Ley Ke Jaani Aye is 70% complete and will be released in March.

Syed Noor should concentrate and make good quality Urdu films.

More news on the film. The script has been written by Adeel Hashmi. The music by Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. The film will have a duration of only 90 minutes. It will be in Urdu and English. The shooting will start in February. You can call it an experimental film.

Credit goes to Shaan that at last someone has bought some new "real" talent to the industry. The 90 minute duration is interesting.

Agree that this year's LSA were not the best but still better not having any at all. Us usual our media has to bash everything Pakistani. Especially when its a Jang Publication.

Thanks for putting this up. Its high time we realise that the Indians are never going to accept us. It does not matter how much we lick up to them. They just treat us like dirt. I was always against the showing of Indians films in Pakistan. Instead of running to the Indians we should trust our own talent and promote it properly. We should showcase our entertainment industry to the world. High time we revive our own film industry instead of showing Indian films on our screens. Currently our own cinema owners are taking Pakistani films off the cinemas to make way for Indian films. The recent example is of Zille-Shah. The whole scenerio in Pakistan stinks unfortunately.

Have we as a nation totally lost our self respect.

Without any doubt Ramchand Pakistani like KKL has again put not just Pakistani Cinema on the world map but also our country.

When are we going to realise the importance of Cinema. Having 50 TV channels and making stupid Indian inspired dramas are not going to get us any where.

Well for JS it was over confidence regarding KAKN. One thing JS forgot how the the taste of the audience has changed over the last 5 years or go. I did not have much hope for a film which took for ever to make. No offence to JS. Even the music wasn't anything special.

A film should at maximum take 12 months to make and get released. When will our film makers realise the importance of a strong script, subject and screenplay. JS made the same mistakes before when he had 3 flops after Chief Saab.

We desperately need new script writers. Please try writers like M.Ahmad, Samrad khoosat,Suraj Baba and other new writters. Babar Kashmiri yuck.

Coming back to Pakistani films struggling to find Cinemas then we have our selves to blame. I always knew this was bound to happen after Bollywood films got released in Pakistan. Our distributors are always to going to give preference to Indian films. Even if our film industry starts making Hollywood standard films tomorrow. Its our craze with Indian films. Thats one of the reason I am against the release of indian films in Pakistan.

Sorry to say but it looks like that Urdu Cinema is dead. The living proof is what has happened to the so called revival of cinema after Khuda Kay Liye, one year on. ZILTH!

No one is serious in our country. Everyone just wants to make quick money. Major production houses like Everready and Evernew are more interested in releasing Indian films then producing Pakistani films. Thats what you call loyalty. Both of these production houses in the past have made millions from Pakistani films.

Just sad but infact depressing but this is the story of our country. We keep on going on how much talent we have. Whats the use. I am still hoping for the ultimate miracle to happen. When or if ever it happens. Well we can still all dream.

The team that she has chosen for this film so far does look impressive. Hasan Sheryar Yasin (HSY) will design the clothes for the film. The shooting is going to start soon.

Good, releasing at last. No doubt will be a great film but business wise the chances are slim for the film to do well. Any how the box office always surprises you. I am hopeful that the film will do well.

Why KKL did well was because the subject touched the heart of every Pakistani. Everyone could releate to it. It was so real.

According to todays Daily Express a huge signboard which is 160 x 60 feet has been placed at I.I Chundrigar Road. One of the most famous roads of Karachi. The sign board is reported to be the biggest ever made for the promotion of a film. The sign board can be seen from a huge distance.

Good going JS.
